Laboratory Experiments

In the framework of General Laboratory we offer

Antennas and Wave Propagation 1

This experiment will give you a feeling for the working principles of antenna radiation. You measure antenna parameters including S11 (return loss) and radiation patterns using a VNA (vector network analyzer) in the frequency range between 500 MHz and 3 GHz.

Antennas and Wave Propagation 2

This experiment will go into more details of antenna design. You design a horn antenna to given specifications and build it with an interlocking block system. Finally, you will measure the radiations pattern of your antenna with a VNA.
